YDCare Signs MOU with KLN and Advantech to Support Digital Transformation of Hong Kong’s Healthcare System


YDCare, a home healthcare brand under New Frontier Group, has signed a tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with KLN Medical Limited (‘KLN Medical’), the healthcare subsidiary of KLN Logistics Group Limited (‘KLN’), and Advantech Co., Ltd. (‘Advantech’), a global leader in IoT intelligent systems and embedded platforms. The partnership aims to synergise the three parties’ expertise across smart healthcare technology, clinical application and medical supply chain management to support the digital transformation of Hong Kong’s healthcare system and promote the application and development of advanced healthtech.

Tom Sze, Managing Director and Co-COO of New Frontier Group; Mengwei Xin, Managing Director and CSO of New Frontier Group; Serena Xie, Co-founder and CEO of YDCare; and Ethan Yeung, General Manager of YDCare Hong Kong Division, jointly attended the signing ceremony on behalf of YDCare.

YDCare will leverage its expertise in the field of clinical application to collaborate with its partners in jointly advancing this project. During this period, KLN Medical will fully utilize its combined strengths in healthcare supply chain management, technical capabilities and after-market support to provide medical institutions in Hong Kong with one-stop solutions covering equipment delivery, after-sales technical support, maintenance services and system implementation co-ordination, fully supporting the smooth deployment and long-term development of iWard in the Hong Kong market. Through iWard’s integration of patient information, clinical workflows and medical equipment, and its seamless connection with the existing information systems of medical institutions, YDCare will work together with all parties to help healthcare teams enhance clinical collaboration efficiency and ward operation management, drive the development of smart wards and the digitalisation of clinical workflows, and create greater value for healthcare professionals and patients.
