Service Overview

Occupational Therapy helps rebuild a purposeful life when illness or accidents affect daily independence. While Physiotherapy focuses on the mechanics of walking, Occupational Therapy focuses on the application: safely entering the bathroom, using the toilet, and dressing. We help you overcome environmental barriers to regain autonomy and confidence.

FAQs

What common home modifications do OTs suggest?

Installing grab rails in bathrooms and hallways, using non-slip mats, removing door thresholds, improving lighting, and providing shower stools or raised toilet seats to enhance safety and accessibility.

How can OT help a family member with Dementia who wanders?

Our therapists use "Time and Space Orientation" training and visual cues (such as signs on doors) to reduce confusion. We also design engaging daily activities to channel their energy and reduce wandering behaviours.

Do you provide rental or sales of rehabilitation equipment?

To maintain professional neutrality, we provide expert advice on the most suitable equipment and information on where to buy or rent them. We do not sell or rent equipment directly.
