Service Overview

Registered Nurses (RN) are the backbone of our clinical system, essential to our "Homespital" vision for patients with high medical needs. Unlike typical nursing agencies, we provide a managed clinical ecosystem. Led by a dedicated Nurse Manager, our RNs deliver 24/7 hospital-grade care to ensure your loved ones receive expert support without leaving home.

Homespital: YDCare Continuous Care Model

For cases requiring intensive medical attention or continuous monitoring, we provide 12- or 24-hour "Continuous Care," replicating a hospital environment at home.

Professional Care Teams

Your Nurse Manager will curate a professional team led by a Specialist Nurse (SN), supported by Enrolled Nurses (EN) or Health Workers (HW) for seamless and tiered support.

The Role of the Registered Nurse (RN)

As the on-site clinical lead, the RN:

  • Perform complex procedures (IVs, CVC care,) and post-op monitoring.
  • Conduct ongoing clinical assessments and adjust care plans.
  • Supervise and guide the ENs and HWs.
  • Act as the primary link between the family and the Nurse Manager.

Seamless Monitoring

Continuous RN oversight allows for the immediate identification and management of any health changes.

Our Professional Nursing Care

Our strict clinical protocols ensure safe home-based treatment:

  • Medication & IV Therapy (including IV infusions and injections)
  • CVC Care (PICC, Port-A-Cath, Hickman catheters)
  • Tube Care (PEG, NG tubes)
  • Dialysis Support (Peritoneal & Haemodialysis)
  • Specialist Wound & Stoma Care
  • Post-operative & Discharge Care
  • Caregiver Empowerment

Who We Serve

  • Patients requiring home-based IV medication or infusions.

  • Individuals with central venous catheters (e.g. PICC lines).

  • Cases needing 12/24-hour continuous monitoring for clinical safety.

FAQs

What is the difference between RN and EN?

Both are nursing professionals. Registered Nurses (RN) undergo more extensive clinical training and have a broader scope of practice, allowing them to manage complex assessments and procedures (e.g. IV injections). In our team, RNs also supervise the work of Enrolled Nurses (EN).

Are RNs on duty 24/7 under the 'Homespital' model?

This depends on clinical needs. Your Nurse Manager will design a cost-effective rotation—for example, deploying an RN during critical daytime hours and an EN when the condition is stable overnight. All shift and care is supervised by RN and Nurse Managers.

What if RNs encounter issues during a home visit?

They will immediately report to your dedicated Nurse Manager. If required, the Manager and our wider clinical team (including Specialist Nurses) provide instant support—this integrated expertise is the key advantage of our team-based approach.
