SRE Expo: YDCare Showcases Integrated Home Healthcare for Quality Aging

With one of the highest life expectancies in the world, Hong Kong’s definition of longevity goes beyond numbers—it reflects a growing emphasis on quality of life. How to plan a fulfilling retirement and ensure elderly individuals receive professional, dignified care at home has become a key concern for modern families.

From April 3 to 5, 2026, the Smart Retirement Expo (SRE) was successfully held in Hong Kong. YDCare, a provider of professional home healthcare services, participated alongside its local medical network partners under New Frontier Group, including Hong Kong Integrated Oncology Centre, Hong Kong Integrated Imaging Centre, Heal Medical Centre, and Heal Oncology Centre.

Together, they presented an integrated care model that spans diagnosis, clinical treatment, and home recovery—extending healthcare services beyond hospital settings into patients’ homes.

Bringing Hospital-Level Care into the Home

During the exhibition, YDCare introduced a range of interactive experiences to help visitors better understand the value of home healthcare:

Health Screening: HRV Heart Rate Variability Test
Simulating a nurse home visit scenario, visitors experienced on-site HRV testing, bringing health monitoring beyond hospitals into everyday life.

One-on-One Consultation: Home Care Assessment
Hong Kong registered nurses provided personalized consultations, offering tailored care recommendations based on each family’s needs.

Policy Support: CCSV Consultation
Registered social workers explained the Community Care Service Voucher (CCSV), including eligibility and application procedures, helping families better utilize government resources.

Interactive Engagement: Health Education & Gifts
Various interactive activities and giveaways helped visitors learn about home care in a relaxed and engaging environment.

Delivering Peace of Mind, Right at Home

For YDCare, this exhibition was not only a service showcase but also a reflection of its commitment to aging in place.

By introducing advanced services such as home parenteral nutrition and negative pressure wound therapy, YDCare brings hospital-grade care into the home—reducing pressure on the healthcare system while enhancing the quality of life and dignity of elderly patients.

YDCare aims to help more families understand that professional, clinically guided care can be delivered in the comfort of home. Led by registered nurses, with personalized care plans and continuous follow-up, patients can recover and live safely in a familiar environment.
